This Risk Disclaimer and Disclosure Statement applies to all content, products, services and software provided by
Trading Engineering Lab (“Company”, “we”, “us”),
including but not limited to the website, videos, courses, webinars, emails, social media posts, downloadable files,
tools, indicators, and automated trading software (collectively, the “Materials”).
By accessing, downloading, purchasing or using our Materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Risk Disclaimer.
A) Risk Disclaimer (Content & Education)
1) Educational Purposes Only – No Financial Advice
All information is provided solely for educational and informational purposes.
Nothing we publish constitutes, or should be construed as:
- investment, financial, legal or tax advice;
- a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument;
- personalised advice taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.
You remain fully responsible for any trading or investment decision you make. If you require personalised advice,
you should consult an independent and appropriately licensed financial adviser.
2) Trading Risk Warning
Trading financial instruments such as futures, forex, CFDs, options, cryptocurrencies and other leveraged products involves a high level of risk
and is not suitable for all investors.
You can lose part or all of your capital, and in some cases may lose more than your initial deposit.
You should trade only with money you can afford to lose.
Before trading, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, experience level, and risk tolerance, and if necessary consult
an independent licensed adviser.
3) Hypothetical, Simulated and Back-Tested Results
Our Materials may include hypothetical, simulated or back-tested performance results. Such results have important limitations:
- they do not represent actual trading and may differ sharply from real results;
- they are often prepared with the benefit of hindsight;
- they may not reflect execution quality, slippage, commissions, liquidity constraints, or other real-world conditions;
- they do not capture psychological factors and real operational constraints.
No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
4) Past Performance
Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Markets and trading conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably.
5) Personal Responsibility
By using our Materials, you acknowledge and agree that:
- you alone are responsible for your trading decisions and results;
- you will not rely solely on our Materials to make trading or investment decisions;
- you will perform your own research, analysis and risk assessment before placing any trade.
6) No Guarantees
The Company does not guarantee:
- that any strategy, method or technique presented will be profitable;
- that the Materials are free from errors or omissions;
- that access will be uninterrupted, timely or always available.
All Materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind.
7) Not for Minors
Our Materials are intended only for individuals who are of legal age to trade or invest in their jurisdiction.
If you are not of legal age, you must not access or use our Materials.
B) Course Access & Use (LabDegree and Other Courses)
8) Personal and Non-Transferable Access
Access to paid courses, memberships or restricted areas is personal and non-transferable.
Accounts may not be shared, sold or assigned to third parties.
9) Prohibition of Sharing and Redistribution
All course materials (videos, slides, PDFs, texts, recordings, exercises, tools) are protected by copyright
and remain the exclusive property of the Company.
You may not:
- copy, record, upload or redistribute course videos or materials (except where explicitly permitted);
- publish or share content in groups, forums, social media or cloud drives;
- sell, rent, assign or give away access or materials.
10) Anti-Abuse and Security Measures
To protect our content and users, we may use security measures such as login limits, watermarks/identifiers, and technical access logging
(e.g., IP, device information, session times) for security and anti-abuse purposes.
If anomalies or abuse are detected (e.g., credential sharing, redistribution), we may suspend access for verification and, in case of confirmed abuse,
permanently revoke access without refund.
11) Limited License to Use Course Materials
Purchasing a course does not transfer intellectual property rights.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the materials for personal, private use only,
for the duration stated at purchase.
12) Duration of Access
The duration of access (lifetime, fixed months, or other period) is specified on the product page and/or at checkout.
We may update course content without notice provided that changes do not materially reduce the educational value originally promised.
C) Automated Trading Software (Expert Advisors / Bots)
13) Software is Not Financial Advice
Any automated trading software (including Expert Advisors such as Aegis and Horizon Striker) is provided as a technical execution tool.
It does not provide financial advice, and it does not guarantee profits or any specific outcome.
14) Execution Risks & Real-World Trading Differences
Automated trading results depend on many external factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- broker execution quality, spreads, commissions, swaps and slippage;
- latency, VPS stability, internet disruptions and platform downtime;
- price feed differences, market gaps, abnormal volatility and news events;
- MT5 updates, operating system issues, or third-party plugin conflicts.
Therefore, results may differ materially across brokers, accounts, and market regimes.
15) User Responsibility (Installation, Monitoring, Risk Settings)
You are solely responsible for installing, configuring and monitoring the software, including:
- correct setup of inputs and risk parameters;
- testing on demo before going live;
- ensuring MT5 remains operational (recommended VPS);
- complying with broker/prop firm restrictions and rules.
16) No Warranty – “As Is”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind,
including uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with all brokers, or profitability.
17) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the use or inability to use the software,
including direct or indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of capital, or consequential damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the amount paid for the relevant product/license, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
18) License Terms Apply
Use of the software is subject to our Terms of Use (EULA) & License Agreement.
Unauthorized sharing, redistribution, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.
D) Updates to This Disclaimer
We may update this Risk Disclaimer from time to time for legal, technical or organizational reasons.
Continued use of the Materials after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
